No I am not referring to finally getting around to blogging, but to posting a picture of my completely awful hair cut. I am mortified of the pictures and really don't want to post them, but then I decided to just let myself out there. I am sacrificing my little pride I ONCE HAD, so that everyone can leave a comment and encourage me to get it fixed, and so you can have a good laugh. :) When you see the picture feel free to laugh, I do. :) It is that terrible. I feel like I look like Garth on Wayne's World.
Here is what I discovered about how annoying it is to pay hair dressers. First haircuts are not cheap so you have to prepare yourself to get a haircut. That in itself is not bad, but on top of a premium price you are REQUIRED to tip. Tipping is for people not charging a premium price and they do an EXCELLENT job. Not someone who is already charging a fair price and just doing their job! MAYBE, one could consider tipping IF the hairdresser washed, messaged, blow-dried, and styled all for the same low price, but no all the other stuff is already EXTRA money! This tipping hairdressers is ridiculous!!! Can you tell I am bugged. I paid extra money for a really bad hair cut and to look really stupid. I should go back and get it fixed, but I don't have the guts. :) Oh well so please leave a comment and validate my feelings so I can justify spending another $15+ dollars just to get it fixed. :)

Haha, so funny! I think just let it grow until you can do a pony tail again!
I hate hair cuts. I never know how much to tip, where to go or who to trust with my results. So, if you don't like it you totally have my support to get it fixed!
The first two pictures do look like Garth. However, I think the last picture has the potential to be cute so maybe you also need to play around with styling. Although, I know that you wanted a cut so you woudn't have to deal with your hair. Try blow drying. Blow drying always makes straight hair look nice.
The first picture is my favorite in terms of comedy! It totally IS garth and makes me want to rent that movie. Sally is right about the other picture being cute though, but if you hate it, by all means, it's totally worth $$ to have the ability to make it gorgeous in case you WANT to dress it up some time. I think occasional cute hair is a much needed pick-me-up to overcome the day-to-day grind.
Oh, I know all about the woes of a bad haircut! It really does make you so angry that you spent all that money, and now you can hardly look in the mirror without crying. If you remember my post (nearly two years ago!) I ended up going back to the hair dressers to have them fix it. I made sure I made an appointment with someone else there, though. At least at the place I went, they fixed it for free. I only had to pay her a tip.
Good luck!
First of all - I laughed out loud - so thank you (: You are a true friend.
Second- you are just like me -spineless - I won't go back either - but have been in that situation SO many times - in fact the last haircut I got was so bad I have just worn my hair in a pony tail for the past 2 months!
Oh I miss you
I have had a really hard time in Ogden
Wish we could be Mommy buddies!
Hey - check out thepowerofmoms.com
I'm hooked!
I don't think it's that bad. I agree with Sally, play around with styling. I grew up never doing my hair so it was an adjustment to get short hair, but I feel better about myself when I put the effort into it, and short hair requires effort or I look BAD. It's like a forced self-esteem boost.
So did you go fix it or what?
