Tender Mercies

We are out in the middle of nowhere.  Okay, so we are only on the outside of town.  But there is little to do here.  We have watched a lot of tv because of the lack of parks for us to go. We somehow seem to be the loudest and most annoying people in the gated community.  This is such an our family thing to do, cause trouble even though it is completely not our fault!

In light of all this drama, (tv and our life) something came up, something that we have wanted to do since we got here.  There was a flyer that was posted for a soccer camp!  S. called. The price was right, the location was perfect, (right across the street on the university campus), all kids at the same time, and even the time was perfect. Now it is official, we are in. It is just enough time commitment that it is not taking over our schedule but just enough for us to look forward to do.  My kids are so excited, minus X, (but she is never excited for anything).  Every Monday and Wednesday we get to cross the street, (this is huge because I never expected to have something so close since we are over a mile out of the city.). This is a tender mercy for us!

On our way to soccer practice!

 H. ready to take anyone on.

 Z. doing drills.  I was surprised and how many hand drills they did.  Who knew!

 C. doing some sweet moves.

 X. is knocking someone over.  I would be scared to get into her way.  You can also see the parents us,(the shadow), lovingly watching our kids.

After practice, coaches lecture, in Spanish.
